Albacore trips start August 4th and run through September.
We specialize in fishing live bait for albacore. We will troll to locate fish, then convert our troll hookups into wide-open bait stops. Both boats can carry 8-10 scoops of bait, 800-1200 pounds of ice, and hold upwards of 100 fish. We will also jackpole, jig iron, and cast swim baits at jumpers when the opportunities arise.
Trips usually start between 6 and 7 but could change depending on the bar and ocean conditions. Plan on a full day, as some days the bite doesn't turn on until late afternoon
