Halibut, Lingcod & Rockfish Trips — “The Grocery Run”
Season Opens May 1, 2025

Looking to load up the freezer with some of the best-eating fish in the Pacific? Our Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish trips are your ticket to a high-octane offshore adventure! Running every Thursday, Friday, and Sunday through June (or until the quota is met for Marine Area 1), these trips will have you reeling in the big ones all day long.

We’ll depart around 7:00 AM, depending on conditions, and head out 25 miles offshore to the Astoria Canyon—prime real estate for  Pacific Halibut. Fishing in depths between 400' and 1000', we’ll be using electric reels to maximize your time on the water and haul in fish from the depths with ease. No more wasted time cranking away for 20 minutes just to check your bait!.  These powerful reels get your catch to the surface in no time, so you can get back to fishing and keep the action nonstop.

While targeting Halibut, you’ll also be reeling in giant Lingcod and huge Rockfish, with each drop offering a mix of heavy hits and exciting action. We’ll be using a combination of bait, cod jigs, and grubs to make sure every moment is packed with potential.

Whether you’re a seasoned angler or new to the game, these trips deliver an unforgettable day on the water with plenty of fish to show for it. Prepare for sore arms, full coolers, and a fishing experience you won’t forget!

The New Gambler Boat is expected to be completed in June so we will only be booking Halibut trips on Outlaw this season
